Sick G10

The Sick G10 is a photoelectric sensor with a single boolean output signal. The Q boolean output is true when a valid object is detected within the configured range and false otherwise. The sensor housing has a point connector, allowing it to be snapped to conveyor side brackets.

Properties

  • Origin: The local origin of the sensor beam.
  • Direction: The local direction of the sensor beam.
  • Minimum Range: The minimum detection distance.
  • Maximum Range: The maximum detection distance.
  • Maximum Angle: The maximum angle between the beam axis and the detected surface normal at which an object can be detected.
  • Object: The detected entity, or null when the sensor is clear.
  • Layer: The optional physics layer used to filter detected objects.
  • Kinematics: Whether kinematic physics bodies can be detected.
  • Blocked: The material applied to the indicator while the sensor is blocked.
  • Cleared: The material applied to the indicator while the sensor is clear.
  • Indicator: The entity whose graphics material is used to visually indicate the sensor state.

IO

The component has the following IO:

  • Q: (Output) Whether the sensor is blocked by a valid detected object.
