Universal Robots UR8 Long
The Universal Robots UR8 Long is a 6-axis collaborative robot (cobot) featuring an 8kg payload capacity, 1750mm reach and ±0.08mm pose repeatability.
The UR8 Long is designed for long-reach automation tasks such as welding, machine tending, bin picking, inspection and material handling.

Cartesian Parameters
- Maximum TCP linear speed: 5000mm/s
- Recommended maximum TCP linear acceleration: 2500mm/s²
- Recommended maximum TCP angular speed: 300°/s
- Recommended maximum TCP angular acceleration: 800°/s²
Notes
- The 800°/s² joint acceleration and 2500mm/s² linear acceleration values are conservative recommended values; Universal Robots does not publish fixed numeric acceleration limits for the UR8 Long.
- Achievable acceleration depends on the robot pose, payload, payload centre of gravity, TCP forces and trajectory.
